So, this is one of my first full weeks living here in Southern California. I have an interview on Thursday to transfer my job out here. These are just a few tidbits that will get me through this week.

So, for all my loyal readers I live in California now! This has been my dream ever since I was 15 even before I had been here. New York was my first dream city to live in away from my hometown in DC and now L.A. is the next stop on the tour.
I drive my car from DC with one of my best friends Chris by my side. I can surely say that it was one of the best experiences of my life. While now I missed fashion week in NY and I still have a lot to catch up on but for now I will just leave you with some photos from my crazy trip.

So, just in case everyone is wondering why I have been so absent on the blog for the past few days but I’m leaving this morning (actually within a few hours) to drive cross country and move my life to California (L.A. to be more specific). I hope to return to this blog within the coming weeks with amazing photos and new adventures and maybe even some fashion inspiration from the Santa Fe!
Wish me Luck!

Not since the evolution of the acid wash jean have I seen such a comeback in a fashion trend over the past few years. Just in case you are living on Mars I am talking about the Ray-Ban Wayfarers. They were first popular back in the 60s worn by Bob Dylan and Elvis Costello. Then, they regained strength in the 80s by Tom Cruise in Cocktail also by Jim Belushi and Dan Akroyd in the Blue Brothers. Now they seem to have staying power. Even though they may be trendy they are the best pair of shades that I have bought in the last 5 years.
Bob Dylan

Elvis Costello

Tom Cruise

Over the last few years the basic black was just not enough for Ray-Ban so they decided to bring back the white and the red and now they are available in a rainbow of colors…
Cory Kennedy

Ashley Olsen

Lauren Conrad

Mary-Kate Olsen

Needless to say I own a pair of black and white ones and I still to this day wear my black ones almost every day. Check out Ebay for some great deals. I only paid $60 for mine! not the crazy 150 they are charging.
