Here is my “grunge” inspired look for today..even though it was raining i hit some good shops in L.A. on my shopping outing.
Jacket: Elizabeth and James
Shirt: Old Kurt Cobain memorial tee from when I was 12.
Leggings: American Apparel
Skirt: Urban Outfitters
Boots: Fiorentini and Baker
Bag: Alexander Wang

Folkin’ like its 1969…

If you don’t know Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros then let me introduce you:

I can’t wait for summer at the beach…and long bike rides around California. This song makes me want to join a commune.

It’s Monday…

I hope my week feels like this..

Girl of the Moment: Léa Seydoux

Léa Seydoux is a young French actress whose style I happen to love. She starred in a Levi’s commercial a few years back that made her well known. I think that it was banned in the U.S. but it’s quite a good commercial. Now she is signed to Silent Modeling Agency. There is something about the effortlessness of European style that I love. The mix of grunge with masculine and feminine influences make them so unique. I think Clemence Poésy might have some competition.

Her Levi’s Commercial:

Brrr…This is what Perfection looks like.

It’s Winter in New York City and oh, Mary-Kate Olsen… I love you.

Muse for the Week…

He is the closest to Kurt Cobain that we are gonna get..but in actor/musician form.

check out his band: Pagoda

Granted I know that no one can ever completely replicate Nirvana’s sound, but its great to see such a correlation in music that is produced today. Also, if you haven’t seen Last Days by Gus Van Sant I highly recommend it.
