One of the most pivotal albums in rock but more specifically the “grunge” rock era of music. ‘Ten” was Pearl Jam’s debut studio release and essentially it’s beautiful from beginning to end. Not only did Vedder & Co. produce a stellar album out of the gate, but 20 years later it’s still considered one of the best albums of the 90s.

Released in August of 91, it wasn’t an immediate success. By 1992 it charted #2 on the Billboard top 200, an amazing feat for such a new band. The singles from “Alive”, “Even Flow”, and “Jeremy” still remain some of the most popular songs in their career. Pearl Jam is still recording new music and sounding just as amazing as always. I thought for this little peek back in time it was important to remind everyone to take another listen to this album and see how it’s truly another one of rock’s classic records.
