Late Menswear Monday: Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam

We can’t really talk about how awesome the 90s were without talking about Eddie Vedder. My mom will be so pleased because she really has taken a liking to him. Much to my dismay my own mother likes Pearl Jam more than Nirvana. At least she actually knows the two bands. Yep. Pretty cool. Anywhooo

The famous frontman for Pearl Jam and a member of one of the best supergroups, Temple of the Dog is one of mt favorite singers to date. His voice is gruff and captivating. So much that one of their more acoustic songs, “Yellow Ledbetter” is my favorite by Pearl Jam.

Here are some photos of him in the 90s that I could dig up…

and how awesome is this photo of Eddie and Chris Cornell…

this is one of the best Pearl Jam videos: “Alive”

ok, more nostalgia and facts: my first hamster was named eddie vedder and he was the love of my life. fuckin amazing vocalist, if you ask me (the man, not the hamster). my brother still has all his pj tees from the early 90’s and they are worth hundreds of dollars now but he still wears them. diehard fan right there. watching alive on you tube always brings me back to age 8 when my brother would crank this in our living room to my annoyance bc ummm can a girl fucking watch the stick stickley show in peace. great appreciation for this post and a lot of your others.
