As with many shows in the 90s (i.e. My So Called Life) and even today, the best ones always seem to get cancelled. Freaks and Geeks was on for one awesome season in 1999 and for me tv hasn’t been the same since. Ever since I found out it was being released on DVD I bought it and can recite almost every episode.
The show revolves around a group of geeks and misfits aptly called “freaks” in high school in 1980. While this may be before the grunge period took over in fashion there are certain aspects of the clothing here that make me all a flutter… Not to mention who doesn’t love James Franco, Seth Rogen, and Jason Segel?

i love seth rogen!! he is my hubby!! 🙂 when i heard about freaks and geeks i knew it was a show that i would love, to bad they cancelled it, it seems like all the good shows i see now days are getting cancelled!!! ;( only the bad ones stay on 😛
