A few weeks ago one of my readers suggested that I feature Chris Cornell for my Monday installment. We must have been on the same wavelength, because I was drafting up this very post.
Chris Cornell, famous for fronting 90s grunge band Soundgarden has been one of the biggest grunge icons since the 90s. After Soundgarden went on hiatus he formed rock supergroup Audioslave, also another kick ass formation.
Let’s take a journey back to the Pacific Northwest and see why Cornell’s dreamy eyes and badass style makes him just as relevant now as he was 20 years ago.
Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder during their Temple of the Dog days…( video below)
here is one of my favorite Soundgarden videos: “Rusty Cage”
and here is one of my favorite songs of all time by Temple of the Dog; grunge supergroup including Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, Mother Love Bone, and then unknown vocalist Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam.
