I’m not one for reviewing many collections on the blog these days. It’s just something that doesn’t occur to me much anymore. The other day I was browsing the archives of the blog and it seems that since I left New York I have become a lot less wordy and more of a “visual” writer so to speak. I didn’t really use this blog for photographic inspiration until I moved to California. Anywhoo, I digress…
One of the first collections this resort season that I immediately loved is Proenza Schouler. There is something about this design duo that always reinvents itself but makes both young and older women feel so amazing. This season they changed the idea of tweed with leather trim, baggy minimalism and colored leather. It’s things like playing with a denim vest on top of a tweed and leather skirt that just leaves me coming back for more each season.
Can Jack and Lazaro please just re-design my whole closet? Thanks.
