Shredded, decontructed, torn, ripped apart. One of the essential elements of the 90s. More often than not worn clothes weren’t just a trend but a way of life. The “trend” officially died once shops like Abercrombie started pre-ripping their jeans. Ugh. Yeah. I love the resurgence of the ripped clothing that has a whole new spin since the 90s. Here are a few photos from the male set on how they’re ripping and shredding today. Also with some nostalgic inspiration photos mixed in.

Hi Lauren! great blog! Thanks for checking out my blog, I just saw the comment now. You should def move to London, it’s the best thing I’ve done. It is such a great vibe here and always inspiring. I was wondering if you want to exchange favors and if you’d like we can put each other on our favorite blog lists/addictions.
Either way keep up the great work!
Nina xx
thanks

Great! Just did now. Thanks xx
LOve that the kid is wearing a ‘free west memphis 3’ shirt – that case was something I followed all through the 90’s. so glad they released them.
oh & I love guys in shredded clothes, preferably stuff like what the ‘Widow’ line is putting out though.
