It’s great to see new lines in their beginning stages. One of the most important aspects of creating a new line is finding an identity. Martyrs Yve is a new line based in Los Angeles that follows through with a very minimal yet interpretative view on fashion. From long linen-blend shirts to the perfectly distressed leather jacket, the four piece collection is a selection of staples. The initial interaction that I had with the brand was their two films for the first collection, The Offering. Showing the clothing in a cinematic angle and being able to see the clothes in motion always shows something more than in a look book. Keep an eye out for Martyrs Yve, this is just the beginning.
