As most of you know by now I’m pretty into the skateboarding scene as a culture and as an inspiration to various collections. Whether it’s streetwear or a more high fashion design, there is something about this underground yet mainstream sport that is never short of inspiring people since the ’70s.
This morning I was drafting ideas for a new photography series to shoot for the site and I was browsing the archives of Russian designer and artist, Gosha Rubchinskiy. His collections are very much rooted in Russian youth culture and the 90s aesthetic. Too good so I had to share one of my favorite collection, the S/S 2014 season.
