You may have noticed that over the past few months I’ve been posting a lot about beauty brands, but I’m hardly an expert. One of my super good mates from college is an amazing makeup artist and a beauty guru. So, after all this time we’re going to have a new voice here giving you tips and reviews of some of the best beauty brands out there, all while keeping the ‘fashiongrunge’ style.
Meet Erin Shimkin !
For the past 14 years she’s been in the beauty industry and has been featured numerous publications like Inked, worked at NY fashion week, and everything in between . We moved to California together and bonded first in Art history class, passing notes about how crazy our teacher was. She grew up in Long Island, going to basement shows and music plays such a huge part in her editorial work and her own personal style. From West Coast skate culture to 90s hip-hop, Erin’s got the range down.
