VICTOR CHOI AND READY-MADE
I grew up admiring the rock and roll culture as a child and was influenced by the muse vocalist VICTOR CHOI of the Russian rock band KNHO.
VICTOR CHOI and KNHO expressed the story of freedom, youth, change and peace in their performance which influenced heavily on this collection.
Along with the influence of this rock band, FRANZ WEST’s READY-MADE, which I encountered in Centre Pompidou during my trip to Paris in my 20s, influenced this collection as well.
READY-MADE introduced a new form of expression of being directly involved with the art by hearing and feeling.
This direct form of communication with the public inspired me to be more active with my fashion.
