Even though we’re in the beginning of the year, I haven’t really done a personal post in a long while. That is something that I want to change in 2023.
For so long I wanted to share more of what I like outside of 90s music and now movies/tv on the podcast. That’s when I started to think about sharing my book and magazine collection and calling it, Fashion Grunge Library.
Over the years I’ve written a few posts about my love for magazines. In my youth I had so many copies of Seventeen, Spin, Rolling Stone, and YM which I’m regretting not holding on to. When I moved to New York for school that started my interest in fashion. I tried to hold on to as many as I could between moving multiple places and across the country. Some have been sold or given away over the years but the bulk of them I’m cataloging and sharing now and pairing with some music that reminds me of that period in time.
So in the future look for many copies of NYLON, i-D, and other indie fashion publications as well as some truly incredible photo books from photographers I admire.
