“Go ahead. Blonde me.”
EPISODE NOTES
You can actually feel the heat in this film. It instantly transports you into this neighborhood all taking place during the Son of Sam murders in 1970s New York City. Immediately there were similarities to the DC sniper case that we both lived through that we touched on. Spike Lee’s film perfectly captured the paranoia and utter fear that gripped the whole city, but within this specific community.
It was basically my first watch and for the 150th episode and the start of the summer season, it just worked out pretty well
Me and Mikey talked about the costumes, some unexpected scenes, what we would have changed, and the crazy behind the scenes facts we dug up.
off-topic rants include: The Faculty, rating Hollywood men over 50, and how I got Mikey to finally get into Vanderpump Rules
