“I feel sorry for you, Mark. You just don’t know how to have fun.”
EPISODE NOTES
This is another one of those films I’m surprised we haven’t covered until now. I have faint memories of watching this in a 90s basement during a sleepover as a kid but it’s definitely been a while since I’ve watched as an adult. Luckily Jules had never heard of this one and we get her first time watch thoughts.
We both talk about how the two primary characters, Macaulay Culkin and Elijah Wood were acting their hearts out in this, the normie 90s fashion and nod to Tonya Harding, and the WILD behind the scenes drama involved.
Off-topic rants: Jules’ nanny horror stories, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and children playing psychologically damaging roles in Hollywood
