This was one of my favorites in recent episodes. I’m reminded why I love watching and talking about music and the reason why I started this pod to begin with. I’m talking episode 7 of the ‘Metal Evolution’ docuseries which focuses on whether or not grunge belongs in the metal sub-genre family tree.

Host Sam Dunn travels to Seattle to talk with members of Mudhoney, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, and more about their influences and if metal had an impact on their lives and later on their sound in their respective bands.

We also get a little bit into ‘post-grunge’ and they express their feelings on bands like Nickelback and Creed with hilarious commentary.
