Let’s take a trip wayyyy back to the 80s and talk some of my favorite cartoons, Jem and Rainbow Brite.

Jem is a story about an AI hologram machine (in the 80s!) that somehow can create a band from scratch?? I get into the first episode (on YouTube) about how Jerrica is taking care of a group of girls and is trying to win back her rightful inheritance of a successful music company all while struggling? It’s kind of a mess but I’m attempting to get into this packed premiere episode.

Now Rainbow Brite is my girl and I’m talking the “Peril in the Pits” episode that takes us on a journey to Rainbowland and Murky’s pit of gloom. I happen to love the crew of Twink and Starlight and how they all get together to save Brian and the Color Kids all in a 20 min episode!
