Surprise! This was an unexpected addition to the lineup this month. Yes, I am still covering spooky movies but in order to tide you over until those episodes are out I thought about taking a look back at a “scary” episode of one of my cultural touchstones, Dawson’s Creek.

I’ve got Stephen from @creektalkpodcast along with me to give his takes and since he’s recapped the entire series, he’s the perfect guest for this season 1 rewind. We talk why we love the early seasons and the cold opens, the aspects we picked up on during this watch, and try to figure out if the Lady Killer was stalking them all along?

For years I was always freaked out when I saw the cover for the film, Leprechaun. I had it in my head that it was some weird twisted horrific tale and I had been saving it for the pod for this very moment. Needless to say I was so wrong and this movie was hilarious and I can’t wait to see more of the series.

@agentmikey007 is along on this episode as we laugh at the many quotes, hilarious transportation modes, and get into why Jennifer Aniston would like to pretend this film doesn’t exist.

I read some Letterboxd reviews, we marvel at how dumb these siblings are “investigating” a pipe at an old church, and how the last half of the movie kinda unravels.
