For this installment of Monday’s exciting delve of other side of fashion and inspiration I decided to go with someone that over the past 5 years I have drawn lots of inspiration from. Lou Reed started out with The Velvet Underground in the 1960s who brought the style of beatnik artists to music in New York City. The band teamed up with fashion model, Nico to showcase her amazing vocal talents. I got into The Velvet Underground when I was still living in New York. I made this extensive New York 1960s playlist on my iPod and I would walk around the West Village for hours. Something that I plan to do again when I go home in a month.
But for now just enjoy some Lou Reed inspiration on this Monday.
