Northbound Factory:
This series was shot in Padua, Italy, in a suburban space near the railway and next to one of the most popular nightclubs among the city’s youth culture (called Factory Club). This place, so full of life at night, gets a gloomy and anonymous look during the day, also increased by the bleakness of the construction sites and the winter grey sky, contributing to the melancholic atmosphere. We wanted to play with that sense of loneliness and melancholy by dressing the model with grungy-punkish outfits, almost recalling kind of a British look and atmosphere. With her arms up towards the sad sky, though, there’s also a sense of freedom and the desire to escape from a grey suburban life.
