Human Canvas is a project freely inspired by the movie Memento (C. Nolan, 2001), but adapted to the world of fashion.
Every sentence written on Stefania’s body has something to do with her life and her experiences, as she originally wrote them for herself. With this project, I wanted to create a contrast between the couture styling and the black “dirty” paintings on Stefania’s body. In fact, I do believe human beings are made of contrasts and contradictions, and most of the time they are far more beautiful than what we believe. In addition, I wanted to add some emotion and intimacy in a fashion-shooting environment.
